The Hermitage School District (HSD) in Hermitage, AR is now accepting School Choice applications! If you are a family that does not live within our residential district area and you want to become a Hermitage School District Family, join us by completing a School Choice Application. 2024-2025 Applications for Grade K-12 students may be found on the Hermitage School District website at https://www.hermitageschools.org/. Paper applications are also available at the Hermitage Central Office at 310 North School Drive Hermitage, AR 71647. No time to stop by, no problem, call 870-463-2246 and we will arrange for you to receive an application. All completed applications must be received on or before May 1, 2024, to be eligible for attendance during the Fall 2024 semester. We can not wait for you to become a part of our Hermitage Family! The Hermitage School District will have school Wednesday, January 24, 2024! We are excited to see all staff and students return to school tomorrow safely at regular times. Thank you, HSD

The Hermitage School District continues to experience hazardous road conditions on side roads, multiple bus routes and school side roads. School will be closed Tuesday, January 23, 2024. Administration, Central Office and Maintenance Staff will be on site preparing for students to return hopefully on Wednesday, January 24, 2024. HSD

Hermitage Elementary will celebrate the 100th day of school on January 26th. Students may wear their favorite 100 day shirt. Parents are invited to watch the students release balloons at 2:00 by the elementary gym.

We are actively monitoring the road conditions and will keep everyone informed of any Hermitage School District school closures at the following locations: (Hermitage Website including Text & Facebook notifications, KATV, Monticello Live, Saline River Chronicle, Eagle Democrat, etc.) Please remain safe and warm! Parents, The Hermitage buses are running today and may be running a little late to ensure extra precautions due to neighboring district's weather conditions. Again car riders and buses are running at regular times this morning but may experience some delays due to our efforts to check the road conditions. Please travel with caution. Students who need to arrive late today will not be counted tardy. Our team continues to check road conditions and will keep you informed of any changes. Thank you, Hermitage School District

Visit https://www.hermitageschools.org/ for winter weather information. Click on the Inclement Weather/School Closing Notices located on the Hermitage Webpage in the red buttons. School Closures School Closures are communicated via text, website, social media, and local media (KATV, Monticello Live, Saline River Chronicle, Eagle Democrat). Make up Days following Inclement Weather If the Hermitage School District must pivot to an inclement weather day, a make up day will be communicated to parents and staff. NO AMI work will be given due to changes in State law.
